Storage & Reheating
Storage
For the freshest bread, leave out what you will eat in the first two days and freeze the rest for future use. Ziploc bags work best for the feezer. When you are ready for it, thaw and toast or prepare as desired.
Unsliced loaves can be frozen whole or cut up. Sliced Loaves can be stored in their original packaging.
When keeping a loaf out on your counter, store the bread slice side down with a cloth over the top.
Reheating
Preheat your oven to 375°-400° (depending on your oven). Wet the crust of your loaf with water and stick it directly into a hot oven. The water will create the steam needed to refresh the bread. The drier the loaf, the more water you can use. If the loaf is only slightly dry, you can wet your hand rub water directly on the crust. Place the bread in the oven directly on the rack for about 10 minutes or until the crisp on the crust has returned and the inside is soft.
